United Way ClimbUP 2024
This November, CORE proudly participated in United Way’s ClimbUP for the second consecutive year. Led by Senior Associate Saina Hamidi, Team CORE took on the challenge of climbing 1,776 steps to the top of the CN Tower, raising both funds and awareness for those struggling to meet basic needs in the community.
Thanks to their efforts, the team raised an impressive $1,400 for United Way. These funds will help support essential programs that fight poverty and connect 1.8 million people across the Greater Toronto Area to vital services and resources.
The team completed the climb in just 30 minutes, with Justin Mostacci leading the way by finishing in an impressive 15 minutes and 33 seconds, earning a spot in the top 100 out of 3,071 participants on the day. Team member Corey Tallevi-Keller also secured a place in the top 100, contributing to the team’s remarkable performance.
We’re proud to be part of such a meaningful event and to support our local community.
