Concept space
Invited to design a concept space, the theme was “What Makes You Wealthy?” Our response included the essentials of life: eat, sleep, bathe, play. The activities were divided into two halves: introverted (bathing, sleeping) and extroverted (eating, playing).
Sleeping quarters & Play Area
The sleeping quarters were designed as an intimate setting, upholstered to provide comfort and to reduce sound. The play area included loosely placed beanbag chairs. The extroverted pavilion is completely clad in walnut flooring.
Eating area
The eating area included sitting mats that are placed around a stainless steel table that extended to become the counter for preparing meals. The bathing space is completely clad in black slate.
