Two Opposing Elevations
The 90 degree facing towers are important that the composition will appear different from each elevation. Charisma 2 condominiums were meant to have two opposing elevations: a simple pattern of horizontal balconies and the ends, a random composition of precast fins with floor-to-ceiling glazing. The traffic entrance court was also an important design element where the lobby has been positioned at the inside of an “L-shaped” podium. The revised entrance canopy takes cues from the organically shaped top of our buildings.
“Peanut” shaped top floors
The “peanut” shaped top floors are the one element that is playful in the context of an otherwise rational building exterior. The peanut-shaped mechanical will be a translucent glazed two-storey element that will glow and be an iconic symbol of the Charisma 2 condominiums. The floor immediately below the peanut will contain a sky lounge amenity space with generous terraces on all sides; it will be the project’s feature space.
