A Unique Organic Design.

Daniels’ Block 4 is an inspired urban development proposal that embodies the principles of modern, sustainable, and inclusive urban planning. This ambitious project aims to offer a diverse mix of housing options, catering to a wide range of preferences and needs, while also emphasizing connectivity, walkability, and community-oriented spaces.

The proximity to essential amenities and services, such as schools, parks, libraries, medical centers, retail outlets, and restaurants, ensures that residents have convenient access to everything they need within walking distance. This accessibility, combined with the development’s focus on providing private outdoor spaces for recreation, contributes to a high quality of life and fosters a sense of community.

Daniels’ Block 4 represents a forward-thinking approach to urban development, where diversity, connectivity, sustainability, and community are at the forefront. By blending a variety of housing options with accessible, green, and communal spaces, the project sets the standard for the modern, inclusive, transit-oriented neighbourhoods in the City of Brampton.

Housing Diversity & Tenure

Central to Daniels’ Block 4 is the commitment to provide a mix of housing types and tenures, with rental and condominium options. This approach ensures that a broad spectrum of residents, from single professionals to families can find suitable living arrangements that fit their lifestyle and financial circumstances.

The development features an array of building typologies, including townhouses, mid-rise and high-rise structures, allowing for varied living experiences within the same community. The tallest building is strategically placed closest to Mount Pleasant GO Station, taking advantage of existing infrastructure, optimizing accessibility for residents and encouraging the use of public transportation.

Urban Design & Connectivity

The thoughtful placement of buildings parallel to the surrounding street edges respects the existing urban fabric by continuing the context of the three-storey street wall condition along the public facing roadways. At the same time, massing is arranged to facilitate the creation of a central outdoor amenity area. This central space serves as a communal hub for residents, promoting social interaction and community engagement. The design prioritizes permeability and pedestrian access, incorporating direct pathways leading to the GO station to ensure that pedestrians can easily navigate through the site and to public transport services.

Integration with the Environment

Daniels’ Block 4 places a strong emphasis on high-quality built form and landscape design, supporting the vision of a walkable and multi-modal transit-oriented development. The relationship between the at-grade residential uses and the surrounding streets is carefully considered, with appropriate setbacks allowing for private terraces and shared amenity spaces that encourage outdoor living and community gathering.
