Mixed-income and mixed-tenure community

In collaboration with FRAM + Slokker, TCHC is undertaking the revitalization of its existing social housing portfolio at Allenbury Gardens through the redevelopment of the entire land. Currently occupied by low-rise townhouse units, the lands will be transformed into a fully planned, mixed-income, and mixed-tenure community through a variety of built forms including low-rise back-to-back townhomes to mid-rise and taller multi-residential condominiums and a central public park.

Efficient design solutions

CORE Architects were invited to participate in the RFP process for Allenbury Gardens, having already demonstrated to TCHC on 585 King East and Regents Park an ability to develop intelligent, sensitive, and efficient design solutions, while meeting time-sensitive milestones for all stages of the project and within strict budgetary constraints.

Vivo

High-rise residential component

With similar criteria to deliver the high-rise residential component of the development, CORE successfully won the RFP and implemented a design that manages to provide a connection between interior and exterior spaces.
