After 27 Years Principal Charles Gane Retires
Almost a year after his official retirement we were finally able to give principal Charles Gane a farewell party with the lifting of COVID restrictions.
Principals Babak Eslahjou and Deni Poletti narrated a highly amusing retrospective of his time at CORE. A custom hockey jersey was made for him which was officially “retired”and staff signed print which depicted all his building elevations from the past 27 years.
Charles was one of the founding members of CORE, and he has played a critical role in the growth and success of the firm. While his portfolio of work is represented internationally, his most notable projects have been in the city of Toronto; particularly in the King West neighbourhood, which includes the award-winning designs for Six50 King, Five Hundred Wellington West, Seventy5 Portland, Fashion House and 12 Degrees. Charles will continue to remain available during the transition period to provide support and continuity to his clients as required.
Please join us in thanking Charles for his vision, dedication and leadership at CORE, we wish him all the best in his retirement.
